A 35-year veteran in the horseshoeing industry, Roger Newman, founder and creator of SomerSong Forge, brings his ingenuity and resourcefulness to this market with customizable and affordable trailers and truck bodies designed exclusively for farriers.
As a working farrier, Newman fashioned innovative organized tool systems for himself. He quickly realized that other farriers were in need of the same operational efficiencies. Since 1991, Newman has designed SomerSong Forge Trailers and Truck Bodies that have pivoting arms for anvils, industrial strength pull-out drawers for shoes and nails, propane tanks/brackets and high pressure lines run generators for multi-socket electrical distribution and stand-alone work stations that can be adapted to meet the various hitch systems on pre-owned truck models, as well as a full line of working truck systems to cater to any farrier's individual needs. |
